It’s important to note that offline applications will not be entertained, and laptops will only be allocated to students who register online.
Eligibility Criteria For Students In Laptops
To qualify for the laptop scheme, students must fulfill certain eligibility criteria:
- Enrollment in public sector universities or degree-granting institutions, including officially recognized sub-campuses, is mandatory.
- Students enrolled in private sector higher education institutions are not eligible.
- Those with degrees from government and postgraduate college-affiliated colleges are also ineligible.
- Applicants who have previously received laptops through the Prime Minister Youth Laptop Scheme are not eligible for reapplication.
- Foreign nationals, except those from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, as well as students with dual citizenship, are not eligible.
- Only online registrations will be accepted, with other application methods being disregarded.
- Students must provide substantial evidence of their academic prowess.
Shahbaz Sharif Laptop Scheme New Update
Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to distributing laptops to talented students nationwide through the Shahbaz Sharif laptop initiative. The aim is to enhance academic capabilities and provide online employment opportunities to students in higher education institutions, including those in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Students will soon have the opportunity to register for this program and reap the benefits of the laptops.
