Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz continues to fulfil her promises she had made after assuming the office. She had promised to revive the Laptop scheme for students in Punjab and in the latest development she has formally granted approval for it. The Punjab Laptop Scheme 2024 was recently revived under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. Laptop Scheme is going to launch for brilliant, intelligent, and hardworking male and female students of Punjab after 7 years. It starts with 1-2 months of planning and budgeting. After that, it takes 2-3 months to select the suppliers for the laptop. The distribution plan and logistics are ready in about a month. Verification and registration of eligible students takes another 2-3 months. It takes 3-4 months to distribute laptops to students. Monitoring and evaluating the impact of the project will take 6 months to a year, along with distribution. This timeline ensures that the project will be successfully completed in 2024.

Application Process For Online Laptop Scheme
The government is expected to launch an online portal for registration of the Laptop Scheme so the students could apply online for it.
