CM Punjab Laptop And IPad Scheme:
The CM Punjab iPad Scheme, spearheaded by Maryam Nawaz, the recently appointed chief minister of Punjab, has introduced the iPad 2024 initiative aimed at empowering the province’s youth. The program is set to kick off with the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) and will include the provision of iPads. Emphasising transparency within the system, Maryam Nawaz ensures its oversight.
Eligibility Criteria:
Students, both male and female, registered in an HEC approved educational institution are eligible for the scheme. All masters/doctoral students and 50% under-graduate students will get the laptop. The PML N Government in Punjab is planning to reintroduce the popular scheme of distributing free laptops and iPads to students. Maryam Nawaz has directed the relevant authorities to survey college students participating in the free iPad project. Additionally, she has initiated high-level workshops to explore reforms to the Higher Education Scholarship program.
